I entered the country park via the Swallownest side. Once inside there are several routs and NCN routes so plan carefully where you need to go.

An interesting cable-stayed footbridge over the river Rother near the northern lake in Rother Valley Country Park. The bridge was designed in the 1980's to withstand bank subsidence. It connects the country park with the Waleswood area.

The Rother Valley Lake had loads of runners training around the lake as there is a park run series held here. On the lake there are many ski jump platforms that seem to be set out in a course.
