Minchinhampton Village

Highlight • Historical Site

Situated at the top of a hill on the Cotswold escarpment, the pretty town of Minchinhampton is an ancient market town and a good stop-off for a mid-ride coffee. Minchinhampton Common is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and looked after by the National Trust - the summer wildflowers and butterflies are incredible.

The Mercian Way

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Good for families - rubber/aggregate mix surface, flat and safe, pretty fast under the tyre and far nicer than bath road

The Coffee Lada

Highlight • Cafe

Very cyclist friendly with a bike rack, track pump and a few tools. They show some bike races occasionally!

Open Thurs & Fri 12-2pm, Sat 8:30am-2pm and Sun 9am-2pm. Midweek it sells food like toasties, focaccia and bagels. At weekend it also has pastries and bread from Salt bakehouse, and other baked goods from local baker. Coffee from Noni's roastery. Seating inside, and outside in good weather. Also dog and child friendly.

Woodchester Pump Track

Highlight • MTB Park

Great little pump track for your madskillz or taking the kids to. Better than the average pump track, has an optional 'intermediate' section.

Gatcombe Valley Road

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

A nice alternative to "The W". It's much quieter and for the most part much shallower, though there is a steep kicker when you reach Minchinhampton. Some lovely and varied rural scenery and great views of the Gatcombe Valley.
