Ertinger bathing lake in the Schwarzachtalseen leisure center
The total of five lakes are not natural lakes, they are remnants of gravel mining in this area in the 1960s. They get their name from the river that flows through them: the Schwarzach. The lakes are filled with the water of the Schwarzach and groundwater. As the area was renaturalized, it gradually became the leisure center it is today. This now also includes a restaurant with an attached kiosk, as well as toilets, showers and a DLRG boathouse. Due to the high demand from campers, a campsite and a motorhome parking space were developed.
