Troll Forest at De Schorre

Highlight • Forest

Seven giant trolls - some busy, others blowing off their hard work - live in De Schorre, off the beaten path and hidden in nature. One of the giants carves figures out of a totem pole, while one of his big friends gets water and another makes a necklace. Another is collecting rocks and a couple of trolls are resting on the grass, searching for mysterious cloud figures in the sky. Finding them all is a nice walk through De Schorre.

Troll by the water

Highlight • Monument

For the 15th edition of Tomorrowland, seven new residents moved into Park De Schorre. The trolls of the Danish artist Thomas Dambo are supposed to protect the park. Each troll, made from recycled wood, is busy with something else: one fills a bucket, the next makes a necklace, while two others stare at the sky and look at the clouds. Another collects stones, another carves figures into a totem pole.

Together they guard a large watchtower that houses the "Holy Troll". This tower stands deep in the forest. From there you have a nice view of the whole park.

Arne Quinze Art Bridge

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

On the occasion of the tenth birthday of Tomorrowland, the two organizers Manu and Michael Beers gave Domain De Schorre a gift - and at the same time all visitors to the festival and around the world. They asked Arne Quinze for his interpretation of "One World". He created this work of art in the form of a bridge - because what connects more and thus creates a common world rather than a bridge?

The wooden bridge is 650 meters long and consists of 200,000 wooden boards that contain over 100,000 personal messages from festival visitors. Your wishes, ideas and visions are to a certain extent the building material that the bridge is made of.

Deltaweide - Mainstage TML

Highlight • Structure

Many festival goers experience their annual highlight here. Outside the festival period, this location is very busy with high-flyers at weekends. Novice hang gliders try their luck here every Sunday morning. Nice to come and have a look.

Provincial Park De Schorre

Highlight • Natural

Do you see the flashes of light and strobes through the stage fog? Do you hear something? Bass? Loud music and people screaming? No? It's winter too. Here on the grounds of Park De Schorre, Tomorrowland has been taking place in summer since 2005 - as long as Corona doesn't thwart your plans, one of the largest and most renowned festivals in the field of electronic dance music. In 2012 it was voted “Best Music Event Worldwide” at the International Dance Music Awards, and in 2019 400,000 guests visited this festival, which is second to none. It could not take place in 2020 and 2021 because of the Covid pandemic.

The following have already performed here: Ferry Corsten, Sven Väth, Technoboy, Armin van Buuren, Monika Kruse, Yves Deruyter, Mystique, Toni Rios and David Guetta. Now everything is still and is no less beautiful.

On the site you will also find a bike museum and a cozy café, among other things. A large network of hiking trails leads you past ponds and so that you can walk there with dry feet, there are numerous footbridges.

If you want to do something 'active' with the children, there is no better destination. The climbing course is beautiful, exciting, challenging and.....very safe.

Velodroom - Rupeldijk

Highlight • Structure

The Velodroom is a unique cycling museum on the Rupeldijk. Unique, because this museum highlights the exceptional achievements of athletes. Not only an ode to the bicycle but also to records that were shattered. Cycling heroes and cycling collections are extensively covered. In De Musette, the inner person can be refreshed.

Along new clay extraction area

Highlight • Structure

This part of the walking route runs along the only current clay reclamation in the Rupel region.
The agricultural land on our hiking trail will eventually be excavated and deepened for clay extraction.

Wienerberger has a lease here for the next 60 years. Outside this current extraction zone, two reserve areas have already been colored in for clay extraction. 240,000 tons of clay are extracted annually from the current clay pit.

The finished brick product can be used to build approximately 7,000 houses each year.
