The Lübbesee is a large river-like natural and groundwater lake. The almost 300-hectare lake extends over a length of about 12 kilometers along the towns of Templin, Ahrensdorf and Petersdorf to Ahlimbsmühle. The landscape area Templiner Seenkreuz is located on the north shore. The catchment area of the lake, with its flat shores, covers an impressive 36.75 square kilometers.
