Highlight (Segment) • Other

Tourelles Villa, also known as Villa Cosson, is a 19th century manor house located in Asnelles, a commune in the Calvados department of Normandy. It was built by Charles Le Verrier, an architect from Bayeux, for Jean Eugène Cosson, a wealthy music publisher from Paris. It was occupied by German troops during World War II and then by British troops after the D-Day landings. In 1952, it was acquired by the Association Familiale Ouvrière de Caen, a social tourism organization. It is now a holiday village called Les Tourelles.
