Accessible from the Taferlklaussee via forest road and hiking trail, from the Großalm via hiking trail and from the Vorderen See. Mountain tour from here to the Brunnkogel via the Schafluckensteig possible (only for experienced hikers). Stop at the front lake. Arrival either by car (large PP at the Vorderen See) or with the Traunstein taxi from Ebensee (€6.00, with climate ticket €3.00).
