Characteristic alpine hut located in the heart of Val Sesis, along the road (SP22) that leads to the Sorgenti del Piave. Reopened on June 2, 2022, following a major renovation, it is now a welcoming mountain restaurant run by women. A rustic environment, warmed by the fire of wood-burning stoves and by the wood that characterizes the rooms.

Easily reachable by car in summer, it is a pleasant destination for a walk on a beaten path in winter.

The Sorgenti del Piave refuge is located in the Sesis valley, at an altitude of 1,830 metres, at the foot of Mount Peralba. It is easily accessible by car and is an ideal starting point, as it has several paths dating back to the Great War. You can head towards the Olbe lakes or climb the surrounding peaks, such as Mount Peralba, whose peak rises to 2,690 metres.

Near the refuge, the source of the Piave river flows from Peralba. The fresh, clear water is collected in a source of stones and rocks, immersed in nature, next to a monument bearing the inscription "Here the Piave is born".
