Lungkwitz Caves

Highlight • Cave

Not far from Kreischa you can find these caves, also called soldiers' caves. Particularly recommended for the youngsters to experience a little adventure with a lamp. In the summer months it can happen that a bat finds it.

A really nice round. During the tour, custom-fit thermal mats were tailored for our bus (isocamp.de).

I only met two people on the lap, fantastic. Lots of shady forest and a wonderful landscape with lots of peace. Some of the paths are a bit overgrown, but you can see them.

Very nice tour, but the paths are very overgrown in places. I recommend wearing long trousers.

Our September group hike today was a smaller, but no less fun, one, and very close by. Wilisch, Lockwitzgrund, and Kroatenschlucht were on the agenda. The weather? Perfect! And our little group happily set off...

An autumn hike through beautiful forests and over scenic heights away from the well-trodden paths was to be today. From Kreischa we went to Willisch with a view of Dresden and the Eastern Ore Mountains. Then down through the beautiful valley of the Willischbach with beautiful old 🌲and over the Teufelsmühle into the Lockwitztal. From here there is a marked …

The suggestion for this hike is from the hiking guide Dresden Volume 1 by Rölke. Before things really got going, I got some food from the local bakery. It was a pleasant way out of Kreischa in the direction of Wilisch. It's always worth looking back in the direction of Possendorf/Kreischa. In the forest, the path then rises steadily before …

Nice hiking tour with a stop at the Teufelsmühle (from 03/26/22) and Gasthof Maxen. Certainly particularly attractive with the apple blossom.

Today we are out again in a larger group.
We start in Kreischa and first "climb" the Wilisch.
Along ponds and the Wilischbach stream, we go up the Kroatenschlucht gorge via the Finckenfang viewpoint to Maxen.
There, to our surprise, a small spring festival is taking place at the Kalkofen.
Back down to Kreischa, we also pass the interesting Lungkwitzer …

This hike had a bit of everything.
⛰️🌳🌾🌊🏡🎭🌿🌸🌦
We started in Kreischa and immediately went up to Wilisch.
Back down to the Wilischteiche ponds and along the Wilischbach stream towards Maxen.
At the local inn, we were still served coffee and cake outside, despite the packed house and the closed beer garden ☕️🍰👌.
The natural stage and the lime kiln …
