Gut Rixdorf Cobblestone Road

The name could be derived from a knight named Hinrich von Ryckestorp, who was documented as the owner of the nearby Lehmkuhlen estate in 1369. The ancient Holstein noble family Rixdorf died out in 1509 with Wulf von Rixdorf. The ancient Holstein noble family von Brockdorff owned the Rixdorf estate from 1600 to 1681. In 1671, Wolf Heinrich von Baudissin was born on the Rixdorf estate. It was rebuilt between 1730 and 1740 under the master builder Rudolph Matthias Dallin. The estate has belonged to the Counts of Westphalia zu Fürstenberg since 1790. Until it was taken over by Prussia in 1867, the estate was also a patrimonial court.[1]

In 1928, the estate district was dissolved and the communities of Rathjensdorf (until 1949 Tramm), Lebrade and Mucheln were created. Rathjensdorf with its districts Theresienhof, Tramm and Neutramm had been part of the Rixdorf estate as Meierhöfe for centuries.
