A beautiful tour, but the ascents and especially the descents through the forest are strenuous when the ground is wet. Combined with the return on flat terrain, it's a pleasant loop, certainly better in summer due to the weather, although the flat route back to Arbois is sure to be hot, as it's in full sun.
