Beware of botanical trails... they are not always easily accessible. The summit of Mount Ubrieux is truly worth the effort of the climb, and a handsome rooster awaits you there.

The tour can be extended at point 1. Follow the Sentier botanique sign instead of Sentier Aiguilles. (The dashed route on the map). Then you come out at the turnoff to Chateau Ubrieux. Be careful, the last stretch to the chateau ruins is dangerous with smooth, slippery rocks.
The tourist information office sells a plant guide with lots of pictures …
