Passat (Four-Masted Barque, Museum Ship Travemünde)

The Passat is a four-masted steel barque, which was launched as one of the legendary Flying P-liners of the shipping company F. Laeisz in 1911 at Blohm & Voss and is now in the port of Travemünde.

She was first used as a cargo ship by F. Laeisz between Europe and South America. Owned by Gustaf Erikson, it served mainly for wheat transport between Australia and Europe (see wheat regatta).
