Lübs is a lovely little town. The lock is currently closed for work, though. The small swimming area at Kritzower See is highly recommended. It's nice and shady and also suitable for children, as it's flat.
The path along the Elde River is very beautiful.

The route mostly went along a country road with little traffic and asphalt. There was also a cycle path along the road and the natural section along the Müritz-Elde waterway.
Cobblestones were more common in the villages, but not outside of towns.
