Start in Seesen at the brewery dating back to 1618 – convenient parking and immediately a touch of history. After just a few steps, the first highlights are within easy reach: a church, a romantic archway, a tree-lined avenue, and the columned pavilion serving as a war memorial.

Between the Silberhohl and the B248, the Schildau has dried up. The …

Made a nice circular walk around Seesen. Very great, well signposted, good paths, beautiful views and a good part of the way always along the water. Didn't think that Seesen was so easy to hike around.

In Seesen am Harz, we walked "Along the Green Window." Tilly's Table, Steinway, the legend of the Silver Hollow, and Wilhelm Busch. We learned about all of this on this hike. It's a beautiful, moderately difficult hike. It's also offered as a guided hike.
