After the last two tours on the Moselle, I found myself back in the Westerwald today. The circular hiking trail “Höhner Acht Hochsteinrunde” is a varied and quite easy tour, which is very well signposted. Navigation on this trail is optional and not necessary.

Today a tour around Höhn in the best weather and yet quite cold temperatures. It wasn't always easy to walk through the deep snow and sometimes extremely slippery 😉 Unfortunately, the Nister Bridge at the Black Pfuhl is still closed, no crossing possible 😏..From Hochstein we went through the most wonderful winter landscape, a little frozen, back to Höhn🙂
