December 8, 2021,🌟 Bergisches Land - Schloss Gimborn & Burgruine Eibach 2
In the Bergisches Land we found a lot of mud and a few bits of snow. We were able to admire Gimborn Castle, two castle ruins and a cave. A tour that was fun, despite the muddy paths. To compensate the four-legged friends, there was a lot to sniff and some tracks to discover in the forest areas.

Today's tour started from the hiking car park in Gimborn and led us directly past Gimborn Castle and the Church of St. John the Baptist. Continue on some beautiful hiking trails to the moated castle ruins Eibach. From there we went on to the dwarf cave. And then to the castle ruin Neuenberg. All in all a very nice tour …

The start was at Gimborn Castle, where we ate delicious ice cream cake after the tour in a very beautiful garden setting ...... although there is a lot of cleared forest on the tour, it is still very beautiful ... varied. Very nice the ruin Eibach with the adjoining courtyard .... 👍😀⭐⭐⭐⭐

Showing Translation

Very nice round but unfortunately also here enormous clearing. One can really imagine the shady hiking trails that existed here until recently.

Showing Translation

Mostly on wide paths to the highlights, which is what this hike is mainly about.

Showing Translation

Very nice, varied hike with enchanted forest sections and great views.
