August 2, 2022,Eiblkogel - Mit dem Regen um die Wette gelaufen! VLOG

Before the next heat wave rolls over our country again, we decided at short notice to use the somewhat "cooler" temperatures for a quick morning tour of the Eiblkogel. The advantage in summer is that you can start at about 1000 m above sea level. Not only are the temperatures very pleasant there, but the ascent to the Eiblkogel …

After it's supposed to get pretty cloudy in the middle of the week and the weather is pretty bad again, we decided to pay a quick visit to the Eiblkogel. As soon as we approached the car park, the fog was getting denser, so we were able to "enjoy" a late autumn day in the Gleinalm area.

Since one day is more beautiful than the next, we decided to escape from the morning mist and climb into the heights of the mountains.

We chose the Eiblkogel as a nice little round and enjoyed a wonderful, but rather windy day there!

Conclusion: A wonderful day on the mountain without the gloomy fog of the valleys

After the fog had us firmly in its grip for days, we escaped it by heading up the mountain today! It's a good thing we chose the Eibelkogel, at over 1800m above sea level, as our destination, because the fog was firmly anchored up to over 1600m above sea level.

Slowly but surely, autumn is coming. This also means that the "killer cows" will soon be returning to the valley. Whereby, on the tour to the Eibelkogel, you are largely spared from them, because they tend to make the side of the Lärchkogel unsafe.
