A very nice quiet nature round. !!!! Depending on the weather (also days before), mud, sturdy shoes and protection from nettles and mosquitoes. Nice stop with a cozy outdoor seating area "Gasthof zur Landesbanken"

River regulation measures on the Luppe deprived the floodplain forest between Leipzig and Schkeuditz of its necessary water supply as early as the 1930s. 🪾
