We started our tour at the Hotel Seehof in Schwammenauel and then hiked to Woffelsbach. From there we took the ship back to Schwammenauel. The tour is then about 14 kilometers long and ideal for a beautiful late summer day.

In the town of Rurberg, the Eiserbach dam and the lakeshore are closed due to construction. The official detour for the lakeshore leads via "Ginsterley" and "Bollard."
(If you don't want to walk over the construction site 🙈)

The tour around the Rursee is a relatively easy tour with beautiful views of the lake, but unfortunately it was far too foggy today to take nice pictures....

On Saturday it was once around the Rursee. The first northern part was new to me, I have already walked the southern path in the other direction, but part of a loop through the Kermeter.

The weather was pleasant, not wet, but consistently overcast. Not particularly good photo weather. Nevertheless, many pictures came together again.

Wow, today was (again) perfect weather! Today I finally had to do the big round. My feet are broken, but I'm happy and content. 😊🌼🌱☀️

A very nice tour, starting from Rurberg am Obersee over in the direction of Schwammenaul dam .. The view of the Rursee is great when the weather is nice. Then after Woffelsbach the village at the Rursee is very beautiful. Lots of gastronomy and a very nice view of the sailing boat docks and the Rursee. Finally back to Rurberg, …

Yesterday, in beautiful weather, a large group (6 two-legged friends plus 2 four-legged friends) hiked around the beautiful Rursee lake in the Eifel region.

There was plenty to see and discover – a purely enjoyable hike at a leisurely pace.

😊🥾🥾 I completed my 200th recorded tour today.
It was really worth it. Circumnavigating the Rursee was on my to-do list for this year...👌 I'm glad I did it today. It wasn't difficult, except for the section from Eschauel up to Simonsley... but it does offer a wonderful view of the lake. I can highly recommend it.
Top🥾😍😎
