After a trip to Bad Neustadt an der Saale, with its well-preserved medieval city walls, we explore the southern part of the area. Over the Luitpoldhöhe, from where the Kreuzberg can be seen in good weather, we head back via the beautiful Salzburg and the small spa park.

When the weather is nice 🌞 everyone can 🚶‍♀️ hike ... Thickly wrapped up (would have been suitable for winter too) I ventured outside in the pouring rain in the afternoon. Unfortunately we couldn't walk the whole way because the small bridge over the Brend (Schillerhain) is still closed due to construction work at the Juze (flood protection).
We always followed the "N" signposts, but apparently there are a few deviations from the available ".gpx" file...
