Eetcafé Hegeman in Schoonloo is the starting point of this forest walk through the beautiful forestries of Grolloo and Schoonloo.

The walk takes you on characteristic cobblestone roads, which were laid out in the 1930s, just like the forests. They are the most beautiful forests in Drenthe, you will also pass moors, fens and open plains.

I found this route on wegvanwandelen.nl, a beautiful route, but it wasn't entirely walkable because some sections were too muddy, and one path had become impassable due to overgrowth, so I had to backtrack a bit through the jungle.
