During the communist era, the market square in Rymanów served as a junction stop, where numerous blue PKS buses stopped. It was not a passenger friendly place as it is located on a hill that dominates the area and is very windy. Waiting for a call on a cold day could pay with your health.
Currently, local transport is dominated by buses and it is difficult to find your way in the multitude of names of carriers and routes.
The main burden of passenger transport has shifted from public transport to private cars. This is best seen during summer weekends, when flocks of cars pass through the Rymanów market.
