It is located along the West Bloomfield Trail, a 6.8-mile rail trail that connects several parks and nature preserves in Oakland County, Michigan. Woodpecker Lake Outlook is a great place to visit any time of the year, but especially in the fall when the leaves change color and create a stunning contrast with the blue water.
