Beautiful scenery, headwinds, thunderstorms, and an extra 5 km of riding! Definitely the longest stage of the tour.

Not only does it look vertical, it felt that way too. Max. 18%, and that happened several times. You think you're about to fall over backwards and please, don't stop. After that, you only had to drive 90 km. A piece of cake, but even that was a tough one. But we would have made it there even without charging.

We took the slow train for the first 20 km to Lake Caldonazzo. The lake is beautifully nestled between mountains. The path continued through the impressive Valsugana valley to Feltre, a small town on the former “Via Claudia Augusta”, an important Roman road from Aquileia to Augsburg.
