Dike Cycle Path Lemkenhafen–Flügger Lighthouse

Highlight • Cycleway

Great bike path on the dike!
This is how you can easily get from Lemkenhafen to the Flügger lighthouse, or vice versa.

Sheep Pasture by the Baltic Sea

Highlight • Natural

A bell is mandatory here, but the sheep are undemanding, they just stop and you walk or drive past

View of Lemkenhafen

Highlight • Viewpoint

The small fishing and port village of Lemkenhafen is located in the southwest of the island on the Orth Bay. Around 250 residents live in the 135-hectare district, which enchants guests with its maritime flair. As a holiday destination, Lemkenhafen offers all amenities, be it restaurants, beaches, sights or the fresh sea breeze blowing in from the harbour.

Lemkenhafen was established in the second half of the 14th century as a subsidiary settlement of Lemkendorf, around 3.5 km away.

Lemkenhafen is a fishing and port village located on the western south side of the island of Fehmarn on the Orther Reede.

At the harbor you can not only rest and strengthen yourself, but also let the beautiful view of the Orther Reede have an effect on you.

Super nice path that leads to the beach from the village of Gold. The path is easy to drive on with almost any type of bicycle, only with racing bikes with very thin slicks I would perhaps look for a detour.

A day to check off: creeping flat tire on the rear wheel, then stupid fall, then flat tire at W. - demolition and tire and tube search. Forgot to finish Komot 🥺🙈- it was only 27 km!

Great tour if you are looking for peace and quiet! As soon as you have crossed the Fehmarnsund Bridge, the path only leads along the water, mostly along the dike. In between there are several ways to relax on rotating wooden loungers directly on the dike with a view of the sea! Great to ride in nice, windless weather. Please …
