From the first source of the Danube, the Bregquelle, one variant of the first stage of the Danube Cycle Path ran along the one Danube source river, the Breg. We came through beautiful Black Forest valleys via Furtwangen to Donaueschingen. But since it was already very late and dark, you couldn't see much of Donaueschingen. Still a nice tour.

What a beautiful tour. Despite the long distance (60 km) it was very nice to ride. We rode at least half the route without a motor. It was pure Black Forest and was really good fun. 🫶 Particularly beautiful at the Linachtalsperre. 😍
It was just a shame that there was no decent place to stop off along the route. …
