Royal Castle in Niepołomice

Very beautifully renovated former royal castle. Inside you can visit a museum. Admission costs 20 zł (as of May 2024)
Originally there was a castle here, built by Kazimierz Wielki.
From 1550-71 a royal castle in the Renaissance style was built in its place. It was the favorite place of rest of Zygmunt August (Sigismund August).

Built on a square plan, it has an inner courtyard with cloisters.
