Beautiful winding road through meadows between two cute villages. Smooth tarmac, few cars.

Stanway Climb

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

This is a steady climb with steeper sections early on. Later there is a false flat (bit of descent) before the climb rises to finish after the quarry at the cross roads. Watch the left bend on the short descent during wet or slippy conditions. Take your time and enjoy the views. If you are tired at the top its not far to either turn and descend to the cafes at the bottom or turn left and head toward broadway tower cafe.

A stunning Cotswolds village. A must see along the route up from Broadway or past Broadway Tower. Also at the top of the well known climb up from Broadway with the same name (see separate highlights).

Broadway Village

Highlight • Settlement

As the name suggests, the picturesque village of Broadway is dominated by a wide main street lined with independent shops, restaurants, hotels and antique dealers. The Cotswold scarp runs down through the valley into the Evesham Vale. As such, it makes a great base for exploring the Cotswolds.
