Cycle Path Between Klosterdorf and Kähnsdorf

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

This section, like many others on the Berlin-Barnim-Oderbruch cycle path, fulfills all superlatives. Wonderful surface, lined with trees on the left and right and protected from wind, sun and rain.

March 9, 2025,von Cedynia nach Strausberg Nord
Cedynia is a pretty little town, and the view from the observation tower is particularly worth it. The cycle path is very easy to ride, especially on the Polish side, and a detour to the war cemetery is worthwhile and, especially in these times, makes you think.
The Bienenwerder European Bridge is a highlight on the cycle path, which runs …

Once to the westernmost point of Poland and back again from Strausberg Nord.
Nice tour to get a three-digit km amount.
Since I only started cycling last year, that's still quite a lot (for me) 🙂

You pass many beautiful meadows, fields and trees and mostly cycle paths and empty country roads.

Showing Translation

Same tour as last time only backwards and one train station earlier because a three-digit number looks better;)

Showing Translation

A recommended tour on good paths through the beautiful Oderbruch. The weather showed itself from its cyclist-friendly side with pleasant temperatures, weak wind and low cloud cover. In Strausberg, Wriezen, Hohenwutzen and Bad Freienwalde you can refill your "tank".
I would recommend the tour in this direction, as otherwise the proportion of climbs to be overcome would be significantly higher.
