Il sentiero per arrivare alla panchina è molto semplice, in pianura ed adatta a chiunque
La panchina gigante di Chivasso si trova nell’area naturale denominata Sabiuné, sulla sponda sinistra del fiume Po, nel tratto compreso tra il Ponte e la confluenza in Po del Torrente Orco. Quest’area, recentemente riqualificata, offre una bellissima vista sul fiume - consentendo di ammirare anche la fauna selvatica che lo abita - e sulla collina torinese, che si estende dalla sponda opposta. Confina inoltre con l’Area protetta Confluenza Po – Orco – Malone, tanto che l’installazione della panchina è un invito a rallentare e fermarsi, per riconoscere il valore naturalistico del luogo e la bellezza del paesaggio.
