September 6, 2023,Sexten: Abstecher zum Bikepark Kronplatz

The trails at Kronplatz are great: naturally designed, but also marble runs.
Everything was very well maintained with no brake bumps. Great! From Sexten it takes around 30 minutes by car to Valdaora.

We only managed 3.5 trails because they are all long (we did half of them twice) and that was the end of the day. The Herrensteig Trail …

First thing in the morning, we packed everything up, drove the camper down from the campsite, and headed straight to the lift station for the day so we could leave right away later 😜

Even though I didn't start in Olang until midday, the 49 EUR was worth it and it was a great afternoon! The Herrnsteig Trail was a bit too much for me, but I was able to complete it except for 2 or 3 places. All in all, Kronplatz is worth it even by bike in summer.
