Departure from the village of Sant'oreste, follow the signs for the natural reserve of Monte Soratte. There are different routes to do, we have chosen one to see as many things as possible, hermitages, churches and a charcoal pit.

Leave the car in Piazza Giosafat Riccioni and follow the signs for the path of the Hermitages. Then continue following the not always clear white-red trail signs. Watch out for the descent after the thieves' house, to be avoided in case of rain! Partially shaded path, with very suggestive views of the Roman countryside and the Apennines.
