A flat and semi-enclosed bay, its relatively clear waters are a key factor facilitating the proliferation of green algae. Ulva type Ulva and other opportunistic algae such as Pylaiella littoralis are present and synonymous with the high trophic level of the bay.

Marais des Salines Wooden Bridge
