Impressive building on Lanark Road - looks from the street as a normal Bridge - but when you stand on top of it i was positively surprised.
The Slateford Aqueduct is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Union Canal over the Water of Leith. Completed in 1822 and spans a length of 500 feet (about 150 m).
