Ojai–Ventura Bike Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

The Ojai-Ventura Bike Path is a scenic, car-free route open year-round, ideal for cycling and walking. The path, approximately 15 miles long, parallels Highway 33 and the Ventura River, connecting Ventura to Ojai. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed. Some sections feature a fenced horse trail alongside the main path. Starting in Ventura, the trail passes through Foster Park, Casitas Springs, Oak View, and Mira Monte.

Big Rock Preserve

Highlight • Natural

Along the Ojai-Ventura Bike Trail you'll find this incredible spot named after a swimming hole that exists and, according to some, at one time had a large boulder nearby. This is one of the few sites in the area that has year-round water.

Ojai-Ventura Bike Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Ventura County is a great place to explore if you like biking. There is a nice beachfront trail and this beauty of a trail that goes from the mountain town of Ojai to the Ventura Coast. This is a 15 mile trail so you could do an out and back ride to get a good day out of it. It is all on good trails so start where you want but it is downhill from Ojai.

San Antonio Creek Bridge

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

You'll be able to cross the San Antonio Creek via this bridge just before the point where it empties into the Ventura River. It was built recently in 2012 to facilitate this crossing for trail users since the previous solution was a concrete culvert that was inundated during storms.
From this point, you can observe the creek and the surrounding nature.
