Miramar Tunnel Passage

The Miramar Tunnel is a pedestrian passageway that crosses under the Miramar Palace and connects Paseo de la Concha with Ondarreta. In June 2016, it became a 'MiramArt' Tunnel, thanks to the donation of the work of the artist Víctor Goikoetxea. As soon as you enter, you will feel that you are under the sea. This project unites art, architecture, technology and renewable energy. The tunnel vault, 29 meters long, is painted with different materials, thicknesses, shine and roughness that evoke the underwater union between land and sea; In addition, the work is completed with lighting that gives movement to it, expanding the underwater sensation.
