Moselle - Koblenz towards Cochem. With Thurant Castle & Rainbow.

Showing Translation

We drove from Alken to Koblenz on the other side of the Moselle

Unfortunately there is no cycle path between Dieblich and Moselweiss and you have to ride on the busy road. The other side of the Moselle is definitely more bike-friendly. Otherwise it was a nice half-day tour.

The first stretch on the main road (approx. 10 km) is not that exciting. The other Moselle stretch back, above the railway, all the more worthwhile.

A very nice route on the first side of the Moselle, but the other side of the Moselle can only be accessed via a federal road from Dieblich!

A beautiful beginner's tour along the Moselle, starting from the Knaus Campingpark Koblenz via
Güls and the charming communities of Winningen,
Kobern-Gondorf and Lehmen with their old half-timbered houses to Kattenes

Open Mosel.....celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Schengen Agreement, we'll be cycling in eight stages from Koblenz at the Deutsches Eck 🇩🇪 to Schengen in Luxembourg 🇱🇺. The tour will be accompanied by "Bühne Maja," a solar-powered cargo bike stage that will become a platform for music 🎶 and discussion at every stop.
