Pargowo Lapidarium and Memorial Park

The necropolis was established in the 1930s in the southern part of Pargów. It is arranged in the form of a rectangle, with a chapel at the end of the main alley. The cemetery was devastated after the Second World War, and the post-German tombstones were removed. Thanks to the work of the Pomeranian Historical Society, some of them were recovered. The plinths of the monuments and the foundation of the cemetery chapel have been preserved to this day. A lapidarium was established a few years ago. The new development in general recreated the former functional layout. A stone wall fence was repaired in the entrance area. On the main axis of the cemetery, a dirt alley was created with an aggregate-improved surface. The foundations of the chapel were secured, and the area in its vicinity was paved with a granite aggregate surface. There are park benches on site, as well as waste containers, a bicycle stand and an information board. The cemetery is entered into the municipal register of monuments.
