Gerhard Linde was a forester. He and his family lived in the nearby Jagerhof forester's lodge, the ruins of which can be seen near the grave. Unfortunately, it was not possible to determine the details of his life and death.
After World War II, the forester's lodge was taken over by the army. There was a seasonal topographic point here. On post-war maps, this place is called Księżyce and is administratively subject to the village of Karpin.
In the 1950s, the army left this place and the forester's lodge fell into ruin.
Ultimately, it was demolished in the 1960s.
