During the communist era, the market square in Rymanów served as a junction stop, where numerous blue PKS buses stopped. It was not a passenger friendly place as it is located on a hill that dominates the area and is very windy. Waiting for a call on a cold day could pay with your health.
Currently, local transport is dominated by buses and it is difficult to find your way in the multitude of names of carriers and routes.
The main burden of passenger transport has shifted from public transport to private cars. This is best seen during summer weekends, when flocks of cars pass through the Rymanów market. It is not easy to turn towards Rymanów Zdrój, and in the evening join DK28 Krosno - Sanok from that side. The queue of waiting vehicles reaches as far as the church.
When traveling by bike, it is worth stopping in the shade of park trees next to the fountain, and during the greatest heat, look for refreshment in the silence of the church.

Monument to the Victims of Totalitarian Regimes, Rymanów

The monument to the victims of totalitarian systems stands in front of the church of st. Lawrence. The two-part pedestal of the monument is placed on a base on which the date of erection, 1998, is inscribed. The narrower part of the plinth contains a rectangular opening with a cross inside. Below the opening there is an inscription reading: "HOME TO THE VICTIMS OF INHUMAN SYSTEMS, THOSE WHO BY PRISONS, DEPOSITIONS, CAMPS AND DEATH SAVED THE SOUL OF THE POLISH NATION". On the wall of the first wider part of the plinth there is a silhouette of a crowned eagle.
