Basilica of San Vincenzo of Galliano

Highlight • Religious Site

Very interesting basilica to visit. It is located in a promontory of medium difficulty, and in the last 20 / 30mt there is a cobblestone that makes pedaling difficult (it is however feasible).
The monumental complex of Galliano includes the basilica of San Vincenzo and the baptistery of San Giovanni Battista.
It is one of the best known monuments of Lombard Romanesque art even if it belongs to the early medieval period. The building dates back to 1007 and stands as one of the first organic evidence of the formation of the new Romanesque style.
