We started here in Calozzo. We often cycled directly along the lakeside paths via Dongo, Gravedona, and Colico, which were great. I really can't recommend the lower southern side, up to Lecco, to anyone. Unfortunately, there are no explicitly designated bike paths. Before Lecco, there's a lot of traffic, long galleries, and after Lecco, there are long, poorly lit tunnels. …
