The starting point was the large drinking trough, where you can conveniently park the car in a parking lot. These can be reached from Fürstenwalde or from Braunsdorfer Str.
The Große Tränke lock was built back a few years ago. Today only the northern wall of the three locks remains. Boards show the historical course.
