High bridge near Grünwald with great trails on both sides of the Isar. As of August 2020, the lower trails were not passable because residues from the last flood or forestry work were obstructing the flow

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Great as a training round. From the Marienklausenbrücke towards the south and back on the other side of the Isar! Partly very technical! Lots of roots! Best drivable when dry! Have a lot of fun!

For the coming Saturday I rode different trail variants on the Isar - where are there trees across, what has changed you etc.. The guiding for the start of the DIMB season should work.

Starting at the Trek Store, we went on a tour with several groups to the legendary Isar Trails 😁. Then there were burgers and beer. 🚲🍔🍺

Today we arranged to meet up for an after-work Isartrail ride...Initiated by a girl via social network who didn't show up herself 🙈 ...fortunately I found two motivated fellow cyclists 🥳

Apart from the fact that I once tipped sideways while driving around a large tree uphill, couldn't keep my balance and hit my pelvis on a thick branch on …

Out to the Isar, into the snow (well a little bit) and into the cold. At the beginning of winter it is always an issue to put on the right layers of onions... 🥶🧊 That's why it's better to just have a small group...

... yippieh, now you can slowly ride again without your hands freezing on the handlebars👍😁😍 First of all, inspection of your favorite trails: they're all still there and in good shape..... Ride on!!💪🙏😍😁

Round on the Isar was a little shorter than thought / planned... In the spring there is simply a little lack of certain automatisms when it goes steeply downhill. Well, a fat left hand after a slow motion fall that ended up on a tree was the result and made me pedal flat on the Isar home. So: be careful …

Today the Isar trails were covered with deep snow and the tour was a particularly intense experience. Even if it threw me today because of the slippery surface 😅

The trails were easy to ride today - mostly dry or frozen. Only rarely muddy. Great for getting back into bike training - despite the low, single-digit temperatures. But for almost 2 hours it's bearable and the sun feels soooo good and you can enjoy familiar trails (and mental challenges like the Teufelsgraben) to the fullest again. It was great!
