Torsäule (Gate Pillar)

Highlight • Natural Monument

At the beginning, when you start walking and see the gate pillar from afar, you think you're almost there, but far from it, the stony landscape makes it really difficult, but it's always worth it

Arthurhaus

Highlight • Mountain Hut

3-star hotel in a cabin format. The whole team was very attentive and friendly and the view is simply fantastic. The room was great for the four of us plus the dog! We will definitely come back. Special extra: dogs are allowed to sleep in the room with their owners and go to the restaurant with them - all for no extra charge!

There is no rope safety from the approach to the gate pillar. Lots of loose rock and climbing passages. Therefore, surefootedness, a head for heights and really good physical condition are absolute prerequisites.

Starting at 8 a.m. at the Arthurhaus. Unfortunately, we didn't quite make it because there were a lot of clouds up there, the temperature was just below 0 degrees and there was some snow. That was a bit too cold for the dog, so turned around shortly before the finish. But still a great tour.
