In the evening we drove up the Schambachtal, which has a very moderate incline (otherwise it is always very steep out of the Altmühltal). It went past Hexenagger Castle, Altmannstein Castle ruins and Sandersdorf Castle to the picturesque Schambach source - from there back via Rosenburg Castle to Riedenburg
