The Mekong? No, the Isar. The Isar riverside forests are unique. A new primeval forest is emerging here. This makes up for the initial road-based route south of Landshut.
The cycle path through the Erdinger Land region (a theme route in the official "Bavarian Cyclists' Network") isn't (yet) good. A short sideways detour into the fields provided a welcome relief. …

Our tour today went from Landshut via Moosburg an der Isar to Freising. The Isar cycle path was mostly along the river, was nice to ride, quiet and with lots of nature🌳🌿
