The Sutschketal is an interesting, varied nature reserve; Silted lakes alternate with moorland areas, wetlands and dry grasslands. Local residents used to use it to cut firewood and clay was mined.

Since we start the tour inBestensee in Cafe Wahl with plenty of cake and coffee, we just make it back to get dark. A nice relaxed round tour through a small but beautiful natural enclave. Almost deserted today, but I can well imagine that this is not always the case.
