The lakes shine like blue gemstones in the sun in the landscape of the Ebbe Mountains. The region of the nature adventure area with the towns of Attendorn, Olpe, Meinerzhagen, Wenden and Drolshagen extends along the Biggesee and the Listersee and is located in the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park.
The region also offers you perfect infrastructure for cycling.
Hiking experience: Hikers have the opportunity to explore the landscape around the Biggesee and Listersee on the Bigge-Lister-Weg, partly on flat routes directly along the lake, partly on challenging high-altitude routes. Olpe, Attendorn, Meinerzhagen and Wenden also have numerous and varied hiking trails to discover. The Grenzlos forest path in Olpe offers a barrier-free circular route.
View experience: There are fantastic views on the hiking trails in the Biggesee-Listersee nature adventure area; For example, on the Sauerland Höhenflug or on the spectacular Biggeblick viewing platform in the Waldenburg Bay near Attendorn. Another vantage point is the observation tower in Wenden-Heid.
Water experience: There are numerous offers around the lake for sailors, divers, surfers, anglers or for swimming. There are many dreamy bathing spots in the Biggesee-Listersee nature adventure area. Of course, you can also experience Lake Biggesee from a completely different perspective - namely on one of the ships of the White Fleet.
